About Neoclide
Modern developer tools for the editors you trust.
Neoclide is the open-source organization behind coc.nvim and an ecosystem of extensions and tools for Vim and Neovim. We build dependable, editor-native infrastructure that brings modern language intelligence to fast, keyboard-first workflows.

Qiming Zhao (chemzqm), the author of coc.nvim, maintains this documentation portal for the project. coc.nvim is developed in the Neoclide repository with community contributions.
The setup walkthrough, troubleshooting guides and extension-selection notes explain how to use the project. Vim help, configuration and TypeScript API references are derived from coc.nvim sources. Extension README text, releases and package metadata come from their upstream packages and retain source links; inclusion in the directory is not a guarantee that every version and environment has been manually tested.
Verification dates describe the scope stated on each page. When reporting a documentation error, include the page URL, the command or setting involved, and your editor and extension versions. Contact chemzqm@gmail.com for site corrections; report reproducible coc.nvim bugs through the project’s issue tracker.
Our vision
Powerful tools, open to everyone.
We believe developers should not have to leave Vim or Neovim behind to benefit from capable, modern coding tools. Our vision is to make language intelligence open, adaptable, and available while preserving the speed, composability, and control that make these editors unique.
We are working toward a healthy ecosystem where maintainers can build on stable foundations, contributors can improve shared tools, and every user can shape an editing environment that remains truly their own.
